Our computer lab

Our school had a whole block of computer labs for the students' use. However, I discovered that one of my classmates were misusing it. Though being repeatedly reminded by our teachers, that person is still playing computer games on the internet. I hope the person would read this message and stop his act or I will soon post his name and the teachers would know. So, that person, please stop!

Our Assembly Today

Today, as usual, we had our Monday assembly. However, today is special because most of the time were not taken up by teachers. Three of our senior councillors, including the chairman, gave us a dialogue session about three subjects.
1.Long canteen queue problem
2.The use of our old printing room beside the canteen.
3.(Sorry, I forgot the third one, oops! But I still know what its about, thankfully.)

The council had several ideas about the queue problem. They may change the timetable, implant vending machines nearer to the classroom blocks and the third one, er...guess what it is? I nearly lauged when they told us. It is..........TO ENURE, NO CHANGE IN ANYTHING!

Lol, what a waste of time. Anyway, you can't blame me, I'm just such a lame person. Haha. Ok, serious now.
I need to tell you that there are lamer persons, guess what, some of my schoolmates just go up to the microphone and talk rubbish-that is, very useless things.

One of them suggested making the old printing room into a LAN-gaming room! They jolly well know it is impossible, but still waste time talking about it. One of my friend, named Javan, gave a really creative idea. He suggested turning the old-printing room into a room selling cup noodles. That would solve both problems. However, to my utmost surprise, the panelists did not even consider before turning it down. They must have very good reasons.

For me, I personally would want the old printing room to be like what Javan had said. But it is impossible.
:(
After the dialogue, (or before it because I forgot, my memory is so bad!) a Ms Clarinda Choh told us about the use of the Pupil Suggestion Board, because seveal people misused it.

Wow, I written quite long, I want to stop now and go and rest. I will keep any readers informed of every assembly. Bye!

Icouncil Councillor-In-Traing

Icouncil is finally choosing councillors-in-training! I already applied, hoping they can accept me. The nominations really tire me out. If they reject me, I will be devastated. I put in so much effort in it! And now I must prepare for the interview, in case they accept me. Please don't let them turn me down. No matter who you are reading this, please give me your blessings. This will be one of my most important accomplishments this year!

Our Assembly Today

We had quite an interesting assembly today. Our vice-principal gave us a talk on our school enviroment. Some of the students are really irresponsible. They misuse the school's properties and create a lot of trouble for the poor cleaners. I especially dislike the class which classroom is very clean as they sweep the rubbish to the dustbin outside their neighbour's class. They just leave the rubbish on the floor beside the dustbin!

This assembly is special because instead of the usual dialogue sesson ith Mr Hon, our principal, we were told of Hwa Chong's history by a teacher. It is really quite interesting. I was shock when i heard that Hwa Chong was even closed down several times!

Hwa Chong is indeed a school with a rich history.

My First powerpoint presentation

Yesterday during my chinese lesson, I had my first powerpoint presentation. I was very apprehensive and nervous before it because it takes a the main ACE points in this term. What if I did badly?
I was a bit too nervous and I keep checking that my tumbdrive is around although I know that I brought it. I realised that the people who did it before me were all very creative although they often stammer when they talk.
I was very surprised as when I went up, my nervous disappeared mysteriously.

I HOPED I DONE WELL!!

First RP hosting

Yesterday, our class had our first RP hosting and the scene was chaotic.By the way, if you do not know what the RP hosting is, it is a session for the students to have some sort of debate. This time the topic is whether National service is important to Singapore. The three people who were supposed to talk, Sze Yuan as the pros, Yong Rui as the cons and Marcus as the chairman. All of them did not prepare for the hosting and the scene was very embarrassing. Marcus did very badly getting the class attention and the class was very noisy, with the people at the back not even listening. I really pitied Sze Yuan, everyone was bombarding him with questions without giving him a chance to stop. His reflexes were quite good and he managed to answer their questions, although sometimes they talked out of point. Meanwhile Yong Rui remained speechless thoughout the whole hosting, disappointing all of us. That is the result of not preparing. I hope the next hosting would not be like this.
